About the Activity

Amazing Race

Inspired by the Amazing Race Global adventure challenge, this interactive team experience turns the streets of Perth or Fremantle into a live playing field.

Teams navigate the city using a series of cleverly designed clues that unlock a mix of problem-solving tasks, creative thinking challenges, and light physical activities. Each completed task reveals the next location, keeping momentum and engagement from start to finish.

The team success depends on clear communication, smart decision-making, and effective teamwork. Some challenges require the whole group to collaborate, while others spotlight individual strengths, creating variety, excitement, and plenty of opportunities for people to shine.

With the time ticking and a shared goal (winning), teams must think laterally, adapt under pressure, and work together. The result is an experience that builds connection, boosts morale, and delivers genuine workplace skills, all while participants are laughing, moving, and having a great time.

Outcomes

  • Teamwork: teams must work together to complete the challenges.

  • Communication: share your knowledge and be heard, while actively listening to team members.

  • Leadership: take a role in leading the group.

  • Problem-solving: to complete a task or puzzle.

  • Responsive: change your approach as the game progresses.

How does the activity run?
Introduction and Team Warm-Up

The event will begin with your host welcoming you to the event. They will provide an overview of the activity and explain how the activity will run.

Amazing Race Launch

Following a couple warm-up activities your host will get you into smaller teams. You will be given the first clue sheet and additional tasks to gain more points.

Amazing Race Commences

With their first clue in hand, teams start the Race. Each team works together and moves from one challenge station to the next, and like the Amazing Race, some of them have opening times. In this Amazing Race, the first team that crosses the finish line is not necessarily the winning team. It is all about timing, planning and knowing where you are going, not who can run the fastest! Teams will arrive back at the stated finish line by the time provided.

Wrap Up

Teams will meet at the finish line and hand in the answers to their additional tasks. While the tallying is happening, the host will facilitate a debrief with the group.  By this time all the scores are tallied up and we are ready to announce with winning team.  The event wraps up with a team photo and congratulations to everyone.
