About the Activity
Urban Challenge Experience
The Urban Challenge is our most popular team experience, combining the best elements of our Scavenger Hunt and our Amazing Race.
Designed around its location, this experience makes full use of Perth, Fremantle, Geraldton, Joondalup, and other locations across Western Australia, with each event tailored to highlight the surrounding environment.
Teams are split into smaller groups and presented with a curated mix of challenges. Compared to a traditional Scavenger Hunt, the Urban Challenge includes more facilitated (manned) activity stations, offering greater interaction along the way. At the same time, it is less competitive and fast-paced than an Amazing Race style event, making it accessible, inclusive, and enjoyable for a wide range of participants.
Rather than following a strict route, teams choose which challenges to attempt and how they allocate their time. Activities may include puzzles, creative tasks, interactive station-based challenges, photo moments, problem-solving exercises, and organisation specific questions.
This format encourages strategic thinking, communication, collaboration, and adaptability, while keeping the atmosphere positive, social, and fun. The result is an experience that feels energetic without being overwhelming and delivering meaningful team outcomes in a way participants genuinely enjoy.
Outcomes

How does the activity run?
Introduction and Team Warm-Up
The event will begin with your host welcoming you to the event. They will provide an overview of the activity and go over the how the activity will run.
Urban Challenge Launch
Following a couple warm-up activities your host will get you into smaller teams and distribute your Urban Challenge clue sheet.
Urban Challenge
Teams will start the Urban Challenge. Using the clue sheet, each team will determine which clues and challenges they complete to earn the most points. All of them are worth different points adding to the challenge. Everyone will need to stay together as a team and be at the finish point by the time provided.
Wrap Up
Teams will arrive back at the finish location and hand in their Clue Sheets for scoring. The host will facilitate a debrief with the while the scoring is completed, and then we are ready to announce with winning team. The event wraps up with a team photo and congratulations to everyone.
