About the Activity
Junk Bots
This activity will have teams build their own team with personality.
With a large variety of recycled objects available, you will need to make decisions and choices on the style and personality of your wooden robot.
While at the same time you will need to negotiate for the use of tools, assist your colleagues with their choices (if you choose), and connect with the team to build your team.
The activity will wrap up with an introduction to each 'new' team and the skills they bring.

How does the activity run?
Introduction
The activity will begin with your host welcoming you, providing an overview and showcasing a sample of the variety of equipment and resources you can use to make your wooden junk bot.
The Toolshed is Open
Your host will provide each group with an introduction and overview to all the supplies available to make multiple wooden junk robots. Included will be hand tools such as drills and screwdrivers as well as a variety of wooden shapes, screws, nuts, string, nails, and more recycled items to build your bots. We will provide you with general instructions on how to use the tools to build a robot with personality.
Bot Building
You will work with your team to build a new team of robots, taking into consideration their personality, skills and strengths. Your host will be on hand to answer any questions and assist you with any troubleshooting required.
Wrap Up
With all the robots completed, we will learn more about each new team, take a team photo with the new recruits and get you on your way.
