Case Study - A Win for the Team. A Win for the Community.
When a client approached TeamLINQ, they wanted more than a traditional team building activity. They were looking for an experience that would bring a large number of people to together, strengthen teamwork and give back to their local community.
Our response was Packs for Good: a facilitated team building experience designed to get people communicating, collaborating and working towards a shared goal of giving back to the community..
Participants took part in a series of challenges that tested communication, problem-solving, collaboration and teamwork before putting those skills into action by packing more than 100 care packs for OVIS, an organisation supporting individuals and families experiencing domestic and family violence in the Peel region.
Building Better Teams Through Experience
At TeamLINQ, we believe effective team building is more than putting people in a room and giving them an activity to complete.
The right experience creates opportunities for people to work together, communicate differently, solve problems, build trust and understand how they contribute to the team.
Packs for Good brought those elements together around a shared purpose.
A Win for the Team. A Win for the Community.
For the team: The experience helped staff engage meaningfully, collaborate under pressure, and connect through shared purpose.
For our client: The session delivered real value – fun, connection, and purpose – while also supporting local communities and strengthening their reputation for supporting the local area.
For the Peel Community: The care packs provided essential comfort items for women and children in crisis, delivered directly to OVIS.
For Participants: The team building session helped staff engage meaningfully, collaborate under pressure, and connect through shared purpose.
TeamLINQ's Role
As team-building specialists, we designed and facilitated the experience from end to end.
We developed the activities, sourced the materials, liaised with both the client and charity partner, structured the team challenges, facilitated the experience and coordinated the donation.
Team Building That Goes Beyond the Day
The best team building experiences don't just create a memorable day. They create opportunities for people to practise the behaviours that help teams perform better back at work.
And sometimes, when you bring a team together with a purpose bigger than themselves, the impact reaches well beyond the workplace.
